Tinfoil Editorial With Majok

My shoot with Majok was my first time working with a professional model. We decided on conceptualizing a tinfoil editorial inspired by a mood board I had created. Initially we attempted to create our vision by setting up a backdrop piecing together strips of tinfoil, and shot it at sunset to capture those gorgeous golden hour hues. We got a couple really good shots, but because of the time consuming process of setting up the tinfoil, and where we were located we quickly lost the sun.

After reviewing the shots, we decided to reattempt our concept. We met again, this time with some tinfoil emergency blankets (a true game changer), more fancy clothes, and lots of fun energy! We decided to take the photos earlier in the afternoon to get a deep blue and metallic tone in the shots. Iā€™m really proud of the photos we got, and am so glad we kept going despite the initial let down.
